Enrolling in Service Learning helps you earn college credit for community service. The program combines academic instruction with activities that meet real community needs. As a student, you use critical and reflecting thinking skills while making the world a better place.
Service Learning is incorporated into many NLC classes. Attend the Service Learning Fair to find out about community service opportunities with at least 19 agencies and how the programs work. And check your class syllabus for your instructor’s specific requirements (for example, a minimum number of service hours).
