This position is part of the Student Services staff team and is responsible for assisting in the transition of new students to the North Lake College community during New Student Orientation. Leaders will actively engage in orientation by acquainting new students and their families with academic support services, educational opportunities, polices and procedures, and campus services and resources offered at NLC.
To qualify, applicants must:
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA
• Be reliable, punctual, responsible, friendly, flexible, a team player and demonstrate strong verbal communication skills
• Have completed a minimum of 6 hours in a previous semester and be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours for the current semester
• Need 12 completed college-level credit hours on transcript
• Register and complete the orientation training
