It was another great year for North Lake College journalism students at this year’s Texas Intercollegiate Press Association convention, which was held in Corpus Christi in March 2019. Students from the News-Register received 12 awards despite participating in a highly competitive division of colleges that included St. Edwards University, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Texas Wesleyan University, and Trinity University.
