The North Lake College Faculty Association Scholarship Committee has announced its 2017 scholarship recipients, funded by donations from members of the NLC faculty. The college expresses its gratitude to the faculty, whose generosity makes these ten awards possible. In addition, one NLC student has been chosen for an additional scholarship from the Dallas Community Colleges Faculty Association.

The NLCFA Scholarship Committee includes Dr. Phyllis Elmore, Dr. Roy Vu, Dr. Darryl Howard, Prof. Brett Dyer, and Committee chairman Dr. Enrique K. Chamberlain. These scholarships will be awarded in a Faculty Association luncheon ceremony on Tuesday, January 10, at 11:00 a.m., in room C244.
