What is the DCCCD Employee Giving Campaign?
The DCCCD Employee Giving Campaign is an annual campaign for all employees of the DCCCD community to support the areas they care about the most. It is designed to raise awareness throughout the district about the importance of private gifts to DCCCD.
Where do Employee Giving Campaign gifts go?
You decide what you want to support. North Lake has identified two funding priorities for the 2018 campaign. As an alternative, you may also donate to an existing fund of your choice. When you are making a donation, simply select “Other” in the drop down menu and type in the fund name.
Why is employee giving important?
As members of the DCCCD faculty and staff, we are aware of the need for additional investment in our programs, people, and infrastructure. We also know that additional investment pays significant dividends in terms of the student experience, the well-being of our district, and our future.
By participating in the Employee Giving Campaign, we demonstrate our pride in and dedication to our colleges and our community. We also send a powerful message to those outside the district, such as legislators, corporations and foundations, and alumni and friends that we are committed to DCCCD.
I can only give a modest amount. How can that possibly make a difference?
Our goal is participation — every gift is important! The Employee Giving Campaign shows the power of each individual. A series of small gifts add up to a significant amount. But most of all we demonstrate to our alumni and friends who have invested on our behalf that we share their commitment.
How will my gift be recognized?
The DCCCD Foundation will issue gift receipts for all gifts made to the DCCCD Employee Giving Campaign. Additionally, your participation may be recognized by the department or area that benefits from your gift.
I want to make a big impact. I want my gift to endure forever. How can I do that?

Can I donate to other charities?
We appreciate that you want to support other charities. The DCCCD Employee Giving Campaign is an internal fundraising campaign that supports the DCCCD community. If you wish to support other charities, we encourage you to reach out to them directly.
How do I give a one-time gift?
You may choose to make a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift using your debit or credit card.
How do I give through payroll deduction?
To give through payroll deduction, simply select the “Payroll Deduction” option and select the amount of your annual contribution. Your gift will be deducted in equal installments for 12 or 9 months. For instance, an annual gift of $60 will be $5/month if you select 12 monthly installments or $6.67/month if you select 9 monthly installments.
Thank you for your interest in donating to the DCCCD Employee Giving Campaign. To participate in payroll deduction, donations must be received by September 1, 2018. The first deduction will take place in the January 2019 pay period.
