It was another great year for North Lake College journalism students at this year’s Texas Intercollegiate Press Association convention, which was held in Corpus Christi in March 2019. Students from the News-Register received 12 awards despite participating in a highly competitive division of colleges that included St. Edwards University, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Texas Wesleyan University, and Trinity University. At the start of the Fall 2017 semester, North Lake College implemented a new Identification Badge (ID) Policy for the college community. We believe ID badges will help us know at a glance who is who, and add an extra feeling of security to buildings. The policy requires all students to wear visible identification AT ALL TIMES they are on campus. Who is required to wear the College ID Badge?
