North Lake College congratulates the winners of two different Earth Week art contests: the Tree Photo Contest and the semesterly Chalk It Up chalk art competition. Construction Closures in Central Campus Parking Lots

From April through August 2018, Central Campus parking lots will be affected by construction plans. The end result, in fall 2018, will be a parking lot with over 100 new spaces, plus newly added sidewalks and crosswalks so you can walk from your car to class without worrying about oncoming traffic. Faculty Profile: MaryAnn McGuirk

MaryAnn McGuirk is on the front lines. When new students arrive on North Lake College’s campus, McGuirk is likely to be there. She teaches EDUC 1300, a class that equips students with study strategies and time management skills. In other words, it’s a class that teaches how to succeed in college. The NLC Blazers Are Back-to-Back Regional Champions

The North Lake College Men's Basketball team won the NJCAA Region V Division III Championship by defeating Eastfield College 88-76 in the regional tournament on Monday, February 26. North Lake advances to play in March Madness at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament, held March 15-17 in Loch Sheldrake, New York. This is NLC basketball's second consecutive Region V championship, and seventh overall. The Blazers went on to become NJCAA Division III National Champions in 2006, 2008, and 2017.
